Tolkachyov Sergey, a native of Saratov, Russia. 1987. Composition started in music school at Vladimir S. Mishle. In 2002, I began to study in Saratov regional College of arts the Department of music Theory, where I continued to study composition at Alexey V.  Pavluchuk.  In 2006, he enrolled in Saratov State Conservatory.L.V.Sobinov, composition class Sergey P. Polozov. Graduated from the Conservatory in 2012.

In 2016-2017 - the assistant-trainee of the Department of music Theory and composition received L.V. Sobinov, class of Professor S. P. Polozov.

The Winner of III degree the VII all-Russian open competition of young composers named after A. G. Schnittke (2008), diploma winner of the VI all-Russian open competition of composers «Choir laboratory XXI century. Music for children and youth», 2013.

Since 2014,  work as a composer and arranger with a joint choir of students and teachers music schools of Engels, as well as with the chamber choir “Agogika” of Engels.

Also participated in the competitions:

• The II international composers competition of sacred music "St. Romanos melodos", 2013. St. Petersburg.
• Composers Competition at the festival “Look & Listen Festival”, 2013, USA.
• IX all-Russian open competition of composers “Choral laboratory XXI century. Music for children and youth" of 2016, Saint Petersburg.
• The VI Concurso de Composición para Piano Fidelio via Internet, 2016.

Married, with two daughters and son.
